Christoph Herwart (born July 22, 1464 in Augsburg ; † November 5, 1529 there ) was an Augsburg merchant.

His parents were Lucas Herwart (* 1427) and Veronica, geb. Earth wine.

His company in Antwerp has been traceable since 1509. From 1514 to 1520 he was represented here by Markus Pfister and in the 1520s by the brothers Lukas and Christoph von Stetten .

From 1526 he participated in Tyrol together with the brothers Anton and Hans Bimmel and with Anton Fugger in a large mining company, the Schwazer Berg-, Schmelz- und Pfennwerthandel.
