Christoph Jenisch

Christoph Jenisch (born November 9, 1967 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German author , comedian and cabaret artist .

Life

Jenisch first became known as a member of the comedian duo Die Nasen von Nauru , which he has formed with Martin Beer since 1991 and which is named after the South Pacific island of Nauru . Before his career as a cabaret artist, Jenisch studied physics , history and philosophy . During this time he worked as a theater lighting technician, layouter and bookseller. Jenisch has been earning his living as an IT consultant since receiving his doctorate in physics in 2000 . Jenisch has been known as the author of novels (with Martin Beer) and historical-satirical reflections on Frankfurt am Main and Hesse since 2005 .
