Christoph Junge (* around 1644 in Silesia ; † March 1, 1687 in Erfurt ) was a German organ builder .

Life

Christoph Junge was born in Silesia and grew up in Schweinitz near Jessen ( Wittenberg district ).

The construction (use of a jumping shop and type of wind turbine) and the disposition of his organs suggest that he was a student of Christian Förner .

He suddenly died while building the two organs, in the cathedral and in the merchant's church, in Erfurt.
