Christoph Quantschnig (born March 8, 1985 in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee ) is an Austrian ice hockey player .

Career

Christoph Quantschnig began his career with the various youth and build-up teams of the EC KAC and made his debut in the fighting team in the 2003/04 season. From 2003 to 2005 he also took part in a total of three youth world championships with the Austrian national team. In order to advance his career, he moved to the Graz 99ers for two seasons from 2005 to 2007 , but returned to his home club for the 2007/08 season, where he also remained in the following season. After winning the championship in 2009, however, he turned his back on the club and moved to DEK Klagenfurt . For the club he played in the fourth highest Austrian ice hockey league from 2009-2011.
