Christoph Rainer

Christoph Rainer (born April 15, 1974 in Hanau ) is a German chef .

Career

Christoph Rainer first went to the Schlosshotel Kronberg in Kronberg im Taunus after completing his training . Then he moved to the three-star restaurant Residenz Heinz Winkler in Aschau im Chiemgau . This was followed by activities in the Villa Hammerschmiede with Markus Nagy in Pfinztal and in the three-star restaurant Dieter Müller in Bergisch Gladbach .

From March 2007 to March 2014 he was head chef at the Villa Rothschild restaurant in Königstein im Taunus . The restaurant was awarded two stars in the 2011 Michelin Guide .

From 2015 he cooked in the Tiger gourmet restaurant in the Tigerpalast in Frankfurt am Main, which was also awarded two Michelin stars, he left the Tigerpalast at the end of May 2017.

Since October 2017 he has been head chef at the Luce D'Oro in Schloss Elmau , which has also been awarded two Michelin stars.
