Christoph Tetzner (born April 26, 1981 in Greifswald ) is a German basketball player who played for the Central German BC and the BG Göttingen in the basketball league .
Career
His career as a basketball player began in 1998 at TuS Lichterfelde in the 2nd North Basketball League. In 2002 he switched to Mitteldeutscher BC , and in the 2003/2004 season he was loaned to BV Chemnitz 99 .
From 2004 to 2010 he was a player at the BBC Bayreuth. Due to his long association with the club and his popularity with the fans, his jersey number 13 has not been awarded since his departure. In 2010 he won the championship title in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA with the BBC.
After his studies, he moved to the BG Göttingen in the basketball league , but his playing times were rather short.
In 2011 Christoph Tetzner moved to the second division club Crailsheim Merlins , due to his job he played for the second team TSV Crailsheim II in the following season 2012/2013. For the 2013/2014 season he moved back to the first team and played in the ProA.
In 2015 he retired to the 2nd regional league for BG Zehlendorf , and during the 2016/17 season he moved to WSG Königs Wusterhausen in the 1st regional league.
Private
Tetzner has been working full-time for an online retailer for sporting goods since 2012.
