Christoph Weissenbacher (born July 20, 1992 ) is an Austrian football goalkeeper .

Career

Weissenbacher began his career at SV Krottendorf . For the 2003/04 season he moved to SC Weiz . For the 2006/07 season he came to the Academy of the Grazer AK . In March 2008 he was against SC Fürstenfeld for the first time in the squad of the fourth-class amateurs of Graz. He made his debut for this in the regional league in June 2009 when he was in the starting line-up against SC Kalsdorf on matchday 30 of the 2008/09 season . In October 2009 he was against SC St. Stefan for the first time in the squad of the first team of the GAK. With the second team of the GAK, he was relegated from the regional league in 2010.

In May 2011 he made his debut for the first team in the regional league when he was used from the start on matchday 29 of the 2010/11 season against SC Weiz. In the 2011/12 season he made three appearances for Graz in the regional league. After Graz went bankrupt, he had to leave the club in October 2012.

After about two months without a club, he moved to the third-class SC Kalsdorf in December 2012. In his first six months at Kalsdorf, he made ten regional league appearances. In the 2013/14 season he made 13 appearances after only ousting Florian Schlögl as a regular goalkeeper in the second half of the season. In the 2014/15 season he played 29 of the 30 season games, as well as in the 2015/16 season, where he was only suspended on the first match day. After 18 appearances in the 2016/17 season, Weissenbacher tore his cruciate ligament against SC Weiz in March 2017. Then he was no longer used in 2017, he made his comeback in March 2018. By the end of the 2017/18 season, he still came to twelve missions. In the 2018/19 season he was used in 27 league games.

For the 2019/20 season he returned to the Grazer AK, which had meanwhile been promoted to the 2nd division . He made his debut in the second division in October 2019 when he started against FC Liefering on matchday 12 of that season . After the 2019/20 season he left the GAK and joined the fourth-class ASK Voitsberg .
