Christopher Barretto

Christopher "Chris" Barretto (born November 23, 1985 in New York City ) is an American musician ( vocals , saxophone , composition ), who became known as a progressive metalcore singer.

Life

Christopher Barretto studied jazz saxophone at the Manhattan School of Music . He was vocalist with Periphery between 2008 and 2010 and has been the vocalist and frontman of British band Monuments since 2013 . Other musical projects of his are Ever Forthright , The HAARP Machine and Friend for a Foe .

He is one of the sons of Ray Barretto and can be heard on his album Standards Rican-ditioned (2006) as an alto saxophonist .
