Christopher Connelly

Christopher Connelly (born September 8, 1941 in Wichita , Kansas , † December 7, 1988 in Burbank , California ) was an American actor .

Life

Connelly received an actor's contract with 20th Century Fox in 1961 and was mostly cast as a television series actor. From 1964 to 1969 he played the younger brother of Ryan O'Neal , whom he indeed resembles, in the series Peyton Place . In addition to many guest roles, he took on a leading role in the 1974 13-part Papermoon as the father of Jodie Foster and Martin Eden in the 1979 miniseries. Occasionally Connelly was also cast in movies. At the beginning of the 1980s he began to focus on Italy, where he played in several action films until his early death from lung cancer .
