Christopher Reeves (born May 14, 1989 ) is a South African ice hockey player who has been playing for the Cape Town Penguins in the Western Province Ice Hockey League since 2011 . He is also already working as a trainer.

Career

Christopher Reeves began his career with the Cape Town Sharks in his hometown of Cape Town . In 2011 he moved to local rivals Cape Town Penguins , for whom he has played since then. In 2012/13 he also worked as an assistant coach for his team.

International

Reeves was first at the U18 World Championships 2005 in Division II and 2006 in Division III and the U20 World Cup 2008 also in Division III for South Africa on the ice. With the men's national team , he took part in the world championships of Division III in 2011 and 2013 , when he reached the most scorer points of a defender, as well as Division II in 2014 and 2015 .

In addition to his active career, he acted as assistant coach for the South African U-18 team in Division III at the 2014 and 2015 World Cups .
