Chu Chia-ling (born January 11, 1991 ) is a Taiwanese heptathlete .

Athletic career

Chu Chia-ling gained her first international experience at the Asian Championships 2009 in Guangzhou , where she finished fourth with 4926 points. Then she finished fourth in the indoor pentathlon at the Indoor Asian Games in Hanoi with a national record of 3676 points. The following year she won the Junior Asian Championships in Hanoi with 4848 points. In 2011 she was fifth with 5124 points at the Asian Championships in Kobe and in 2012 at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou fourth with 3586 points. In 2013 she again took part in the Asian Championships in Pune , India , where she achieved eighth place with 4956 points, as well as at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou the following year. In October 2014, she took part in the Asian Games at the Incheon for the first time , where she was tenth with 4834 points.

In 2015 she came ninth at the Asian Championships in Wuhan with 4975 points and in 2017 she was seventh at the Summer Universiade in Taipei with 5224 points. In 2018 he again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta and finished eighth there with 5437 points. The following year she reached seventh place at the Asian Championships in Doha with 5347 points.

In 2010 Chu became the Taiwanese heptathlon champion. She is a graduate of National Taiwan Sport University .
