Chu Fu Sung
Chu Fu-Sung ( Chinese 朱抚松 , Pinyin Zhū Fŭsōng ; born January 15, 1915 in Hubei ; † June 14, 2008 ) was a politician and diplomat of the Republic of China .
Life
Chu Fu-Sung was a Bachelor of Sociology from Shanghai University . From 1952 to 1956 he headed the information department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Taiwan. From 1956 to 1960 he was Counselor in Washington, DC From 1960 to 1962 he was Counselor in Ottawa . From 1962 to 1965 he was Deputy Foreign Minister in Taipei . From 1965 to 1971 he was ambassador to Madrid . From 1971 to 1974 he was ambassador to Brasília . From 1975 to 1979 he was ambassador to Seoul . He was Foreign Minister of Taiwan from December 19, 1979 to April 22, 1987. In 2008 he died at the age of 93.
