Shanghai University
The Shanghai University ( Chinese 上海 大学 , Pinyin Shanghai Dàxué ) is a state university in the People's Republic of China, first founded in 1922 and re-established in 1994 . It is based in Shanghai .
The university is one of the universities in Project 211 and in 2005 had around 38,000 students and almost 2,500 academic staff.
