The China Europe International Business School (Chinese: 中欧 国际 工商 学院Zhōng-Ōu Guójì Gōngshāng Xuéyuàn ) is an international business school based in Shanghai , People's Republic of China .
According to international rankings, it offers one of the best MBA programs in Asia (1st place in Asia since 2004, 9th place worldwide in the Financial Times MBA Ranking 2009).
history
The CEIBS was founded in 1994 as a joint project of the European Commission and the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. The university is financed by both the European Union and the city of Shanghai. The university's partners are Jiaotong University Shanghai and the European Foundation for Management Development .
