Jochen Naaf

Jochen Naaf (* 1976 in Dortmund ) is a German music producer and songwriter from Cologne .

Life

Jochen Naaf began to learn guitar at the age of nine and over the years played in various bands. In 1997 he moved from Dortmund to Cologne to do an apprenticeship with the record company EMI Germany. He then worked at EMI as an International Artists and Repertoire Manager . For example, he was involved in the German releases of the then unknown Gorillaz and Coldplay and was responsible for the German releases of bands such as Sensefield and Further Seems Forever .

In 2002 he left the company to exclusively write and produce music. Naaf wrote u. a. for artists like Patrick Nuo or Jan Josef Liefers . In April 2006 he produced the critically acclaimed album by PeterLicht , Songs from the End of Capitalism , followed by the productions of the Arctic Circle 18 album Color of Snow and the hit single Alone, Alone and the Bosses albums Taxi & Waiting Room . In 2009 Jochen Naaf was nominated together with Mario Thaler for the Echo 2009 as producer of the year.

Jochen Naaf also worked on productions for Jennifer Rostock & Klee and also produced a remix of the Lady Gaga hit single Born This Way (Jost & Naaf Remix), which was released on the album of the same name in 14 countries. The Maxim album Staub and the hit single Meine Soldier with Jochen Naaf as producer were newly released in 2013 . In October 2018 the Bosse album "Alles ist Jetzt" was released, which went straight to number 1 in the German album charts.
