Dorfdisko was a rock band from Cologne , which existed from 2003 to 2008.

Band history

Dorfdisko was founded in 2003 by Daniel Roth (born February 24, 1981 in Düsseldorf), Peer Hartnack (born May 3, 1975 in Hilden), Volker Taake (born December 24, 1977 in Aachen) and Marc Pampus (born October 24, 1973 in Waldbröl ) founded. Taake left the band in November 2005 for personal and health reasons and was replaced on bass by David Oesterling (* 1983). In January 2008 the band broke up after Pampus and Hartnack announced their departure.

The first album Much Too Stormy, Much Too Loud, which was released by Motor Music in July 2005 , contains 11 songs that are mainly about the versatility of love. The second album Kurz vor Malmø was produced by Jochen Naaf and was released in June 2006.

During their live performances, the band played with Revolverheld , Christina Stürmer , Schrottstrich , Roman Fischer , Hund am Strand and Klee, among others .
