Chu Yong-bok (born September 30, 1927 - March 14, 2005 ) was a general in the South Korean Air Force and its 13th chief of staff. In 1979 he became Minister of Defense . In 1983 he was appointed Minister of the Interior by President Chun Doo-hwan .
