Chuck Negron
Charles "Chuck" Negron (born June 8, 1942 in New York City ) is an American singer who was best known as a member of the music group Three Dog Night .
biography
Born in Manhattan , Negron grew up in the Bronx . He sang in local doo-wop groups and was a talented basketball player. In 1968 he founded the successful band Three Dog Night with Danny Hutton and Cory Wells , which broke up in 1977.
Negron had serious drug problems for a long time. After overcoming this, he began a solo career. In 1999 he published his autobiography Three Dog Nightmare .
Chuck Negron has had the rights to the band name Blood, Sweat & Tears since 2005 .
