Chun Woo-hee (born April 20, 1987 in Icheon , South Korea ) is a South Korean actress .
Life
Chun Woo-hee was born in 1987 in Icheon , South Korea . Her acting career began in 2004 in the film Love, So Divine . Since then, she has had minor roles and supporting roles in several films, including a supporting role in the box office hit Sunny (2011). She had her big breakthrough in 2014 with the lead role in the independent film Han Gong-ju by Lee Su-jin . In it, she embodies a schoolgirl who is raped by 43 boys. She previously played supporting roles in many films. For her role she received the Blue Dragon Award in the category Best Actress . The film is based on a rape crime that occurred in the city of Miryang, the case of which caused quite a stir.
2016 she played a major role as a mysterious woman in the thriller The Wailing of Na Hong-jin , which premiered at the International Film Festival in Cannes celebrated.
In 2019, she played an illegal immigrant in the thriller Idol in Lee Su-jin's second film.In the same year, she starred in Lee Byeong-heon's television series Be Melodramatic .
