Church's Chicken is an American fast food chain that specializes in fried chicken and other fast foods. George W. Church founded the first restaurant in San Antonio in 1952 .
history
In 1952 the first branch was opened in San Antonio . However, this only sold products with chicken parts. In 1955 the range was expanded to include french fries and jalapeños . After a short time, more and more branches were opened in the USA. In 1979, Church's Chicken restaurants were first established in Mexico , Canada and Indonesia . There are also branches in Curaçao , Egypt , Guyana , Honduras , Iraq , Jordan , Kazakhstan , Kuwait , Laos, Georgia , Russia , Saudi Arabia , Singapore , St. Kitts and Nevis , St. Lucia , Syria , Trinidad and Tobago , United States Arab Emirates , Venezuela and Vietnam. There are over 1700 branches worldwide. Friedman Fleischer & Lowe bought the company in 2009.
