Cilla Rörby
Karin Cecilia Rörby (born May 28, 1970 in Gävle , Sweden ) is a Swedish costume designer .
Life
Cilla Rörby grew up as a teacher's daughter in Gävle. At the age of 20 she completed a one-year training as a seamstress in Sandviken . She then studied at Beckmans designhögskola in Stockholm and began working as a costume designer in advertising before making her debut on Swedish television in 2002. One of her best-known works is the film adaptation of the Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson . For her work in the two period films Call Girl and Gentlemen directed by Mikael Marcimain , she was awarded the national Guldbagge film prize for best costume design .
Rörby lives in Stockholm with her partner and their son .
