Cimarrones de Sonora Fútbol Club (German Mustangs from Sonora Football Club ) is a Mexican football club from Hermosillo , the capital of the Mexican state of Sonora.

history

The club was founded on July 18, 2013 and initially played for two seasons in the third-rate Segunda División . In the summer of 2015, those responsible for the club acquired the license to take part in the second Mexican league to the city of Hermosillo after the withdrawal of Guerreros FC at the end of 2010 as part of the expansion of the league from 14 teams in the 2014/15 season to 16 participants in the season 2015/16 in the Ascenso MX responsible. The other expansion team in the league is FC Juárez .
