action

Jess Crane, the sheriff of Rimrock, is willing to put an end to the gangsters in his district. In a prevented raid on a farm, he meets Sara, an adventurer who joins him. Through their clues he can find the hiding place of the gang in Lindsborg and learns that Mayor Rudell is the man behind, but has no evidence.

He seems to have an ally in Judge Burnett; an important witness is murdered. Jess then has to shoot himself with Ringo Brown, a dreaded gunslinger. In the meantime Rudell has been killed by Burnett, who is the real mastermind. It also turns out that he is responsible for the death of Jess' father. With the help of Miriam, who loves him, Jess can take out the judge.
