In 2015, the Otelli artists performed a circus musical for the first time, "Das gaht nöd: Das git's nöd!" under the term “Circusical” in their Otelli circus as well as in the Circus Monti and in the Mühle cultural center in Otelfingen, Switzerland . The term “circusical” for a “circus musical” was created in 2013 and first implemented in 2015 at the Otelli circus. The word creation is made up of the words circus and musical .

The two art genres of circus and musical were used to stage the circusical: Based on a story by Otelli founder and director Fritz Zollinger , Hannes Diggelmann composed 13 songs and pieces of music. They were voiced by their own orchestra, and the Otelli artists interwoven theater, music and circus with drama, singing, acrobatics, clowns and animals in front of a very special backdrop. The “Circusical” story shows a group of children who manage to take part in a circus through persistent rehearsals. Among them, however, there is also a girl in a wheelchair who nobody expects to be able to achieve this goal. In the end it floats in a wheelchair in the big top and juggles, swinging back and forth through the tent.
