Claire Goose

Claire Goose (born February 10, 1975 in Edinburgh , Scotland ) is a British actress. Her acting breakthrough came with the television series Casualty , in which she played the role of the nurse Tina Seabrook , and with the role of Detective Constable Mel Silver in the BBC series Waking the Dead . She is best known as the leading actress in the series The Coroner , in which she played the title character in two seasons from 2015.

Life

Her parents are Joy and David Goose; her father is a general practitioner at King's Lynn , Norfolk . Claire has two older siblings: her sister Caroline is a kindergarten teacher, her brother Duncan works as an entrepreneur and marketing consultant. When she was two and a half years old, the family moved to Dersingham .

After the Wisbech Grammar School , she switched to the Italia Conti Stage School (major: stage) in London at the age of 16 . Before her acting career, she worked in various positions, e.g. B. as a waitress, as a storytelling raccoon in an amusement park, as an employee at the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children or as a model. From childhood she danced and was often found in clubs, interested in tarot , palmistry and poker .

Private

When she was 31, she started developing symptoms of cancer (two lumps in her chest and another lump on her back). Your father operated on it successfully.

In 2007 she married the TV producer Craig Woodrow. With him she has two daughters: Amelia (* September 2009) and Eveline (* 2012).
