Clara Walther
Clara Walther (born February 17, 1860 in Pößneck ; † July 9, 1943 in Pullach ) was a German landscape and still life painter and etcher. At the age of sixteen she already showed considerable talent.
Clara Walther studied painting in Dresden, then between 1874 and 1880 in Weimar with Zdzisław Suchodolski and since 1883 in Munich with Ludwig von Löfftz . Since 1902 she was based in Munich. Clara Walther has exhibited her works in the Munich Glass Palace since 1888 . She painted interiors, portraits, landscapes and still lifes. She spent the last years of her life in Pullach, where she owned a villa.
