action

After the end of Mad Trip - Class of Nuke 'Em High 2 , the radioactive squirrel that threatened to destroy Tromaville is killed and life in the city slowly resumes its normal course. Mayor Roger Smith looks forward to the birth of his son. But the unscrupulous Dr. Slag, PhD. and his henchman Professor Holt are also after the child, as it is the first successful pairing between a human and a subhumanoid. They kidnap the child when Roger got sick, but without waiting.

When Roger enters the scene, a second child appears. After six months of growing up, his subhumanoid son Dick Smith can already attend high school, which is housed in the old nuclear power plant. There he developed into a conservationist and activist, while his twin brother Adlai worked with Professor Holt and Dr. Slag, PhD. grows up and is raised there to be evil. Both know nothing about each other, although they feel a connection.

When a meltdown threatens, Dick avoids disaster. Shortly before, he noticed a radioactive force pouring out of his right hand that he could use to cool the reactor. He becomes a local hero, but now has to work frequently in the reactor. Professor Holt and Dr. Slag, PhD. to send Adlai to Tromaville and incite the local population against Doick. So they want to unite both forces so that evil triumphs and Tromaville is turned into radioactive wasteland.

When Adlai is supposed to seduce Trish, Dick's friend, Dick can distract this with her mind connection. The two dissimilar brothers ally and lay Dr. Slag, PhD. and Professor Holt the craft. But in the final battle both die when they join forces. From them baby Moishe Smith emerges, who makes Tromaville a better place.

background

The film is very loosely based on Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors . Brick Bronsky plays both the twin brothers and their father.

While the film premiered in the United States in 1994, it was not released in German until almost 20 years later on the '84 Entertainment label , which had the film dubbed as part of its Troma edition.

criticism

Peter Osteried from Kino-Zeit.de tore the film down:

“Unlike the direct predecessor, this third film is pretty weird. If the best gags can be found in the end credits and basically only consist of absurd job descriptions (the "Set Dresser" is followed by the "Cross Dresser"), then you have a real problem. A lack of humor would be bearable, but with an epic 102 minutes of running time, Class of Nuke 'Em High 3 is much too long and strains your patience tremendously. That the script was a catastrophe and that the material in the editing room could hardly be put together in a sensible way is also shown by the makeshift narrative style. Main character Adlai Smith holds a monologue almost continuously and explains to the viewer what is currently being seen and how it is to be understood within the story. "
