Claude Frey

Claude Frey (born July 16, 1943 in La Chaux-de-Fonds ; entitled to live in La Chaux-de-Fonds and Birr ) is a Swiss politician ( FDP ). In 1994/95 he was President of the National Council .

Frey studied economics and graduated with a licentiate (lic. Ès sc. Écon.). During his student days he became a member of the Swiss Zofinger Association .

On November 26, 1979 he was elected to the National Council in the canton of Neuchâtel . There he sat on various commissions and also presided over some of them. He did not run for the Swiss parliamentary elections in 2003 and therefore resigned from the Grand Chamber on November 30, 2003.
