Claude Landenbergue

Claude Landenbergue (born March 24, 1964 ) is a Swiss chess player .

In 1984 he won the Swiss individual cup, the Coupe Suisse . With the Swiss national team he took part in three chess Olympiads ( 1990 to 1994 ) and three European team championships (1989, 2003 and 2007). He trains the youth national team for the Swiss Chess Federation .

He won the Swiss National League A in 1989 and 1997 with SG Biel and in 2012 , 2015 and 2019 with Club d'Echecs de Genève . He won the Swiss Federal Chess League in 2009/10 with Valais . He won the Swiss Team Cup in 1991, 2004 and 2008 with Club Bois-Gentil Geneva . He also played for SK Bern . In France he plays for the CE de Bois-Colombes . At the European Club Cup took Landenbergue 2005 with the SG Biel and 2013, with the Club Bois-Gentil Geneva part.

He has held the title of International Master since 1989. The Elo rating of the chess player from Onex is 2331 (as of February 2020), which puts him in 33rd place in the Swiss Elo ranking. His highest rating to date was 2458 in July 2007, and in the same year he achieved his first grandmaster norm in National League A.
