Claudia Coppola (born December 4, 1994 ) is an Italian tennis player .
Career
Coppola, who, according to the ITF profile, prefers to play on hard courts, started tennis at the age of five. She primarily plays on the ITF Women's Circuit , but has not yet won a tournament there.
On the WTA Tour she received a wildcard for qualifying for the Nuremberg Gastein Ladies 2013 , but lost there in the first round against Anna Zaja in two sets with 2: 6 and 1: 6. At the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open 2014 she also started with a wildcard in the qualification , where she lost to Ons Jabeur 2: 6 and 1: 6 in the first round . At the BGL BNP Paribas Luxembourg Open 2015 she started in the qualification in singles and in the main field in doubles. In the singles she was already defeated in the first round by Tereza Smitková with 4: 6 and 2: 6. In 2016, she has not yet achieved a countable result and slipped into the top 1000 in the world rankings.
