Claudia Lynx
Shaghayegh Claudia Lynx ( Persian شقایق کلدیا لینکس; * June 8, 1982 in Tehran ) is an Iranian - Persian model and actress . Especially in Iran and the Middle East , she is known and successful as a singer under the pseudonym Shaghayegh .
Life
Lynx is the daughter of Persian parents. Her mother died shortly after she was born at the age of 24. She has an older brother. The family moved to Norway when they were three months old . When Lynx turned three, she was featured in television commercials for children's food. When she was five, the family moved to Toronto , Canada . At the age of 15 she modeled for Levi Strauss & Co. , a private trading company for textiles.
Career
With her first modeling jobs, she soon became the focus of well-known producers. An Iranian producer was also interested in her voice. At 16, she started her singing career under the pseudonym Shaghayegh. In 2001, at the age of 19, she was named The Best Print and Fashion Model by Canadian Search Miss Universe . In 2003 the first album Shaghayegh was released. She first appeared as an actress in 2005 in an episode of the TV series The West Wing - In the Center of Power . In the same year followed a leading role in Legion of the Dead . 2007 was followed by a cast in Succubus: Hell-Bent alongside Gary Busey , David Keith and Kelly Hu , in 2008 in Lady Magdalene’s alongside Nichelle Nichols . In 2008 the Taraneh Enterprises Inc. label re-released the album Shaghayegh . In 2009 she was voted The Most Beautiful Woman Alive . She last appeared in 2011 in the short film The Sixth together with Thomas Lister junior .
