Claudio Dadomo , full name Claudio Martín Dadomo Minervini , (born February 10, 1982 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

society

According to his club, 1.76 meters tall, "Chancho" called defensive player Dadomo was at the beginning of his career from 2000 to 2002 with the Montevideo Wanderers first in the Segunda División and finally in the Primera División under contract. From the Apertura 2003 up to and including the Torneo Clasificatorio 2004 he was in the ranks of Nacional Montevideo . In the Clausura 2004 up to the Apertura 2006 he played again for the Wanderers. This was followed by a position in the Clausura 2007 at the Argentinos Juniors . With the Argentines, he signed a contract on January 12, 2007 as part of a loan deal, which, however, he dissolved in early February 2007 after twenty days due to personal problems. So he was not used for this club. He joined the Montevideo Wanderers a third time for the 2007 Apertura. In 2008 he made his way to Europe. There he completed eight games that year for the Swedish club Hammarby IF and scored one goal. After returning to Uruguay, he played for Club Atlético Cerro in the 2008/09 season . With the Montevideans he also came in the 2009/10 season to 23 missions (five goals). During his time at Cerro, he won the Liguilla Pre-Libertadores (Copa Artigas) with the team in 2009 . A move to AEK Athens followed . He played nine times for the Greeks in the 2010/11 season (no goal). In 2011 he left Athens, who won the Greek Cup that year , and signed with Ergotelis . There is only one assignment for him in 2011/12. In the current season he returned to Uruguay in 2012 and played for River Plate Montevideo from then on . In the Clausura 2012 it was set up there six times (no goal). Eight games followed with his participation (one goal) in the 2012/13 championship . During this season he moved in January 2013 to league rivals Club Atlético Cerro, for whom he played 13 games in the remaining games of the season. He was also active for Cerro in the 2013/14 season and was used 17 times in the Primera División (two goals). After the season, Dadomo did not extend his expired contract. In February 2015, he joined the first division club El Tanque Sisley . There he played three games (no goal) in the Primera División in the 2015 Clausura. In the 2015/16 season he was used eight times (no goal) in the league.

National team

Dadomo was a member of the Uruguayan senior team . He made his debut on July 19, 2001 under national coach Víctor Púa , when he was part of the starting XI in the 2001 Copa America against the selection of Honduras . This made him the one hundredth Uruguayan international from the ranks of the Montevideo Wanderers. Against the same opponent he came at this tournament on July 29, 2001 in the game for third place, which Uruguay lost on penalties, to his second international appearance. His third and last game for the Celeste he completed on February 4, 2003 as part of the Carlsberg Cup against the national team of Iran. In this game Gustavo Ferrín was responsible for the Uruguayan national team for the first time.
