Muller made his debut in the Alpine Cup in Forni di Sopra in February 2010 , where he finished 116th in the sprint and 120th place over 10 km classic. He achieved his first point placement in March 2013 with 25th place in a 30 km freestyle mass start race at Campo Carlo Magno . In February 2014 Muller started the World Cup for the first time in Toblach , where he reached 57th place over 15 km classic and 73rd place in the sprint. In March 2014, he achieved his first podium finish in the Alpine Cup as third in the sprint in Rogla . In February 2015 Muller won the Alpencup sprint in Campra and came second in the sprint in Rogla. He had his next World Cup appearance in January 2016 in Nové Město , where Muller finished 67th in the 15 km freestyle. In February 2019 he won the sprint at the Alpencup in Planica and came 39th in the sprint at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Seefeld in Tyrol .
Personal
Muller lives in Tarvisio and started there for the Sci Club Weissenfels. He was voted Sportsman of the Year in Tarvisio in 2011.
