Roy N. Sickner
Roy N. Sickner (* as Roy Cooley September 30, 1928 in Winkelman , Arizona - † February 15, 2001 in Malibu , California ) was an American stuntman , actor and screenwriter .
Life
Sickner first appeared as an actor in small film and television roles from the mid-1950s. From 1959 until the beginning of the 1970s he worked as a stuntman, also for film and television productions. He worked u. a. in series such as Raumschiff Enterprise and Solo for ONCEL and films such as The Return of the Magnificent Seven . He appeared in various advertising formats as Marlboro Man in the 1960s .
Sickner laid the basic story for the film The Wild Bunch - They knew no law and was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Original Screenplay in 1970 together with Walon Green and Sam Peckinpah . This was the only time that Sickner appeared with a script.
