Claus Haring

Claus Haring (born May 16, 1926 in Merseburg ; † January 21, 2016 ) was a German psychiatrist .

Life

Haring studied philosophy , Slavic , German and medicine and passed the medical state examination in 1954. In 1958 he received his doctorate from the Humboldt University in Berlin . In 1973 he qualified as a professor at the Free University of Berlin , and from 1978 was Professor of Psychiatry at the Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf . He has been involved in various Rotary clubs since 1984. After his retirement he worked as a specialist in neurology and psychiatry in Berlin. He found his final resting place in the Dahlem forest cemetery in Berlin.
