Claus Kühn

Claus Kühn (born October 12, 1924 in Hamburg ; † June 9, 2016 there ) was a German journalist .

Life

Kühn was a pioneer of German television ( NWDR Hamburg). In 1960 he became broadcast operator in Hamburg. From 1963 to 1984 he was managing director of Studio Hamburg .

As a committed Catholic, Kühn was a member of the Würzburg Synod in 1974, Diocesan Pastoral Council Osnabrück , later Hamburg, City Pastoral Council, the Central Committee of German Catholics and the journalistic commission of the German Bishops' Conference . John Paul II appointed him Knight of the Order of Gregory in 2002 .
