Claus von Ahlefeldt (governor)
Claus (Klaus) von Ahlefeldt (* 1420 , † June 1486 ) was Amtshauptmann and Mr. Gut Marslev and Torp.
Life
Claus von Ahlefeldt was the son of the noble landlord Johann von Ahlefeldt (1399–1463), lord of Lehmkuhlen and Wittmoldt, and his wife Anna nee. from Wiltberg. His wife was born in Svave . Claus von Ahlefeldt was lord of the Maslev and Torp estates, district administrator in Holstein and pledge lord of Tilen and Flensburg . From 1455 to 1459 he was governor under Duke Adolf VIII of Holstein in Tønder . After the Duke's death, he held the same position under King Christian I of Denmark, Norway and Sweden , who established Danish rule over Schleswig-Holstein. In 1473 he signed the privileges of Ditmarschen and got in return the castle backs to Haderslev . From 1474 he was Lübeck Castle Captain in Kiel.
