The Clendinning Creek is a 38 km long right tributary of the Elaho River in the southwest of the Canadian province of British Columbia .

The Clendinning Creek is fed by the Clendinning Glacier in the Clendinning Range , a mountain range of the Pacific Ranges , at an altitude of 1180  m . He initially flows through the 3.6 km long Glacial Lake Clendinning Lake to the north. The Doolittle Creek then flows into the river from the left. Clendinning Creek turns east and eventually south-east. It flows into the Elaho River at an altitude of 330  m , 10 km above the mouth of Sims Creek . The catchment area of ​​Clendinning Creek covers approximately 360 km². The Clendinning Provincial Park extends over the river valley of Clendinning Creek.

The river was named after Sergeant William Henry Clendinning of the Canadian Army, who fell in Belgium on September 14, 1944 during World War II .
