Clevo
Clevo Co. ( Chinese 藍天 電腦 , Pinyin Lán Tiān Diànnǎo - "Blue Sky Computer", Taipei Stock Exchange No. 2362) is a Taiwan-based OEM / ODM manufacturer of notebooks , tablet PCs and all-in-one Computers . The company was founded in 1983 and has around 1,500 employees. The shares have been traded on the Taipei Stock Exchange since 1997 .
Clevo includes:
- Clevo ( ODM for notebooks)
- Chicony Electronics ( keyboards )
- Hipro ( power supplies )
- Buynow (department stores in China)
In addition to conventional notebooks, Clevo also produces high-performance notebooks ( mobile workstations ).
In addition to Lenovo, Dell and HP , Clevo is one of the few notebook manufacturers who also offer special graphics solutions for the CAD area, such as the mobile Nvidia Quadro FX graphics cards to support professional CAD software.
Clevo forwards its products as barebones or complete devices directly or through a few distributors (e.g. tronic5 mobile Computer GmbH, Sager Notebook Computer) to other OEMs or system manufacturers (e.g. Wortmann AG , Schenker Technologies ).
Until 2006, Clevo also produced for Alienware , which was moved to Quanta after the takeover by Dell .
