Cloëtta Prize

The Cloëtta Prize is a prize from the «Foundation Prof. Dr. Max Cloëtta »in Zurich , which has been awarded annually since 1974 for medical research in Switzerland. It is endowed with 50,000 francs. It is awarded for medicine and its auxiliary sciences and can also be awarded to foreigners.

It is named after Max Cloëtta (1868–1940), who was a full professor of pharmacology at the University of Zurich and was temporarily its rector .
