Cobra Killer is an Electropunk / Garage duo from Berlin . Members are Gina V. D'Orio and Annika Line Trost .

history

Cobra Killers began their careers as part of the digital hardcore movement of Alec Empire . The musicians were members of other bands on Empire 's Digital Hardcore Recordings label . D'Orio played with EC8OR and Trost with Shizuo . Cobra Killer was founded in January 1998. The duo completed numerous appearances and tours, including a. together with Peaches and Sonic Youth . Ex- malaria! -Frontfrau Gudrun Gut was one of the fans of the busy women early on and therefore signed her to her label Monika Enterprises in 2002.

Their stage show is also special: the artists pour themselves a bottle of red wine on the stage while they play samples with siren songs to their audience during the 1960s .

In 2015 Cobra Killer contributed the music for the production "Die Nibelungen" at the Staatsschauspiel Dresden and alternately played the seer Frigga.
