Annika Line consolation
Annika Line Trost (born May 21, 1977 in Berlin ) is a German singer , songwriter , music producer , freelance writer and journalist .
Live and act
Trost grew up in Berlin-Spandau . In her youth she played drums in sixties garage bands .
She later sang in the digital hardcore project Shizuo . In 1998 she founded the electro-punk duo Cobra Killer with Gina V. D'Orio . She produced and released two solo albums under the name Trost .
Trost co-produced parts of the album "Only Love" by actress Jasmin Tabatabai and in 2007 a previously unreleased album by the German indie rock band Tempeau around Jan Plewka and Marek Harloff .
She wrote songs for Die Prinzen and Sebastian Krumbiegel , worked as a singer with the Dutch electronic duo Arling & Cameron , the German rock band Selig , the Berlin fun country combo The BossHoss and played synthesizers in the Winona project of the Scottish orchestral and film music Producer Craig Armstrong .
In 2007 she formed the Munich-Berlin orient-electro-punk project Blacken the Black together with Saam Schlamminger and Albert Pöschl .
As a freelance writer and journalist, Trost works for BZ and Bild am Sonntag, among others . Her column “Plattentrost” has been published in the BZ since 2006, in which she reviews three music publications a week.
Trost sees herself as a sex positive feminist . She turned down an offer to film as a "lesbian Nazi nurse".
She is the mother of two sons. The father of a son (* 2002) is the Swiss drummer Thomas Wydler ( Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds ). She lives with her family in Berlin-Kreuzberg .
In 2015 she published a book about her life with big breasts. In it she reports pointedly on the cross-gender reactions to her distinctive physiognomy. This is perceived by the environment either as a threat, invitation or as "misogynist".
Annika Line Trost has been moderating the Tanzhalle program on the RBB radio station Radio Eins since 2017 . In addition, she also appeared on Radio Eins on the Soundcheck program as a music critic.
