Jacoby "Coby" Fleener (* 20th September 1988 in Lemont , Illinois ) is an American American football poker players on the position of tight ends . He last played for the New Orleans Saints in the National Football League (NFL).

college

Fleener attended Stanford University and ran for their team, the Cardinal, between 2008 and 2011. First as a wide receiver , then as a tight end , improving from year to year. He scored 10 of his 18 touchdowns in his final season.

NFL

Indianapolis Colts

He was selected in the NFL Draft 2012 in the 2nd round as the 34th player by the Indianapolis Colts . In his rookie season he was used in 12 games and scored two touchdowns . 2014 was his most successful season to date with eight touchdowns.

New Orleans Saints

On March 9, he signed with the New Orleans Saints a five-year contract for 36 million dollars .
Fleener could not meet the high expectations that were placed on him. In 2016, he ran 631 yards and three touchdowns, in 2017 295 yards and two touchdowns, before his season ended in week 12 with a severe concussion. In early May 2018, he was released from the Saints.
