Coen Vermeltfoort (born April 11, 1988 in Heeswijk ) is a Dutch cyclist .

Athletic career

Coen Vermeltfoort won the overall ranking of the Münsterland Tour junior race in 2006 after finishing third on two stages there. In 2008 he won the Paris – Roubaix race in the U23 class. By 2015 he had won seven stages of the renowned Dutch Olympia's Tour , and in 2010 he was also second overall. In 2016 he won two stages of the Flèche du Sud . In 2019 he was the first to cross the finish line in the third stage of this race, but was disqualified for hanging on a car.

Honors

In 2008 Vermeltfoort was voted Young Cyclist of the Year in the Netherlands.
