Coenraad van Zijp
Coenraad van Zijp (* 1879 in Tanjung Pinang on the Riau Islands , today Indonesia , † 1941 Leiden ) was a Dutch pharmacist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is " Zijp ".
He lived in what was then the Dutch East Indies until 1921 . From 1922 he lived in or near India . Zijp wrote essays on pharmacology , chemistry and botany . He published the botanical treatises together with Theodoric Valeton (1855–1920).
