Colin Reitz

Colin Robert Reitz (born April 6, 1960 in London ) is a former British obstacle runner .

At the World Athletics Championships in 1983 Reitz won the bronze medal in the obstacle course behind the German Patriz Ilg and the Polish Bogusław Mamiński . He also took part in the Olympic Games twice. In 1980 in Moscow he was eliminated in the semi-finals, in 1984 in Los Angeles he finished fifth in the final. At the European Athletics Championships in 1986 in Stuttgart, Reitz was fourth, at the World Athletics Championships in 1987 in Rome, however, he failed in the preliminary round.

Colin Reitz is 1.86 m tall and had a competition weight of 73 kg. He started for the Newham & Essex Beagles Athletic Club .
