Collen Warner (born June 24, 1988 in Denver ) is an American football player on the position of midfielder .

Career

Youth and amateur football

Warner played for his university's college team, the Portland Pilots , while at the University of Portland . At the same time he also played in the USL Premier Development League for the Colorado Rapids U-23 and the Portland Timbers U-23 .

Club career

On January 14, 2010, he was chosen as the 15th pick in the first round of the 2010 MLS SuperDraft by Real Salt Lake . He made his competitive debut on April 17, 2010 in the game against Los Angeles Galaxy . In the same season he was loaned to AC St. Louis on short notice .

In the 2011 MLS Expansion Draft , he left Real Salt Lake and moved to Montreal Impact .

On May 16, 2014 it was announced that Warner was moving to Toronto FC in exchange for Issey Nakajima-Farran .

Two years later, Warner moved again, in exchange for an MLS draft pick in the 2nd round, to Houston Dynamo . During his time there he also worked for the Rio Grande Valley FC Toros.

In the 2016 MLS Expansion he was selected by Minnesota United and played there until the end of the 2018 season.

In April 2019 Warner moved to the second Danish soccer league for FC Helsingør . Then was again without a club.

A year later, Warner signed a one-year deal with the Colorado Rapids.
