history
FC Helsingør was founded on June 1st, 2005 as an amalgamation of various football clubs from Helsingør municipality under the name Elite 3000 Fodbold . The name was changed to FC Helsingør in 2012.
The club started in 2005 in the fifth class qualification rækken . In the following twelve years he rose by a total of four classes and then played in the top Danish football league for the first time in the 2017/18 season. There you ended the season as the worst placed of the fourteen teams and also failed in the subsequent relegation playoffs, so that after a season the gang had to be started again in the second division. After the subsequent 2018/19 season , another relegation to the third division followed.
The greatest successes in the Danish Cup so far have been reaching the fourth round (round of the last 16) in the 2015/16 season and in the 2017/18 season.
