Colmar Schulte-Goltz

Colmar Schulte-Goltz (born June 10, 1973 ) is a German art historian and gallery owner .

Life

Colmar Schulte-Goltz studied art history at the Ruhr University Bochum ( MA ) and worked for the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart as well as for the Museum Folkwang on a project basis. From 2002 to 2006 he worked as a lecturer at the Ruhr University Bochum. He is a curator for young art at the Hattingen City Museum .

Together with Oliver Noelte, he has been running the “Kunstraum” gallery in Essen since 2002 . He also opened the "Galerie Goltz at the Philharmonie", also in Essen. His great-grandmother was already an art collector, and Schulte-Goltz is now the fourth generation to continue the tradition.

Schulte-Goltz reached a wider audience through his appearances as an art expert in the ZDF television series Bares for Rares , of which he has been a member of the team of experts since the sixth season of 2015/16.
