Comic publishing company
The Comic Verlagsgesellschaft was an Austrian comic publisher from Vienna .
The comic magazine Comic Forum was published by Wolfgang Alber in 1979 . From 1983 the journal and the first comic albums appeared in the newly founded publishing house. The albums appeared in the Comicothek publishing series .
The last edition of the Comic Forum appeared in 1998, and in 2000 the Viennese publishing house ended its activities.

In the Comicothek series , albums by George Herriman , Hermann Huppen , Jean Giraud , Claude Auclair , Chris Scheuer , Frank Frazetta , Hugo Pratt , Manfred Sommer , Jazze , Ronald Putzker , Will Eisner , Jijé and others were published.
